*  Shipping rates

 

Tarabookstore.com provides three different kinds of USPS shipping methods for domestic shipment: Standard, Priority, and Express Service.  To cover the expensive shipping material and high California labor cost we only charge 10% shipping and handling fee on top of USPS shipping rate to make the shipment faster and safer.  For the international shipping we only use the Standard FedEx International shipping.

 

 

*   Availability

Under regular condition the order will be processed in 1~2 days if the products are in stock.  For out of stock or sold out item(s) the processing time will be 7~14 days.  If the item(s) are discontinued we will inform the customer in our earliest possible time.

 

*   Delivery estimates

Usually if the item(s) is in stock, the USPS Standard service takes 10 business days, Priority service take 5~7 days, and Express service is 3~5 day in the continental USA to delivery.  The Alaska and Hawaii may take longer than regular delivery time.  The customer can use the tracking number to track the package after the shipment was sent.

 

*   Undeliverable package

 

The customer should responsible for the shipping charge of incorrect shipping address or rejected shipment.

Once the order was placed the order can¡¦t be canceled, so please check the order carefully before buying it.

Most of the products we sell here are coming from oversea by air shipment. 

Once the order was placed for the customer we can¡¦t cancel or change the order due to high air  shipping fee.

 

 

*   Tracking your package

 

Once the package was sent we will notify you the tracking number via e-mail. The customer may use the USPS (www.usps.com) or FedEx (www.fedex.com) tracking number to track the package.

 

 

 

Return & Replacements

 

You may return any items (unopened CD, DVD, and gift item which is in resalable condition) sold and fulfilled by Tarabookstore.com within 14 days of receiving for a full refund as Tarabookstore.com credit on the price of that item.

The return of books, comic books, and magazines must be in good resalable condition and with 30% restocking charge. 

We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

The customer are responsible for the return shipping charge and need to send the merchandises back in 3 days once the return ID was issued.

 

*   Packing and sending your return

You can pack and send your return to us in just a few simple steps.

1.       Contact us to obtain a return ID.

2.       Pack the items along with the invoice securely in a box.

3.       Affix the return ID to the outside of the box.

4.       Leave the package for your mail carrier to pick up, or take it to a post office or shipping center.

 

*   Exchanging a broken or incorrect item

If something is wrong with an order that is being fulfilled by Tarabookstore.com, we certainly want to help you.

Received a damaged or defective item?

If the item(s) has a damaged or defective part, please contact us immediately.  We'll ask you to indicate the number of item(s) you're returning, the reason for return, and provide you with a return ID.  After we received the item(s) we will examine and test the defective item(s).  If we find the defect described in your message, we will ship you a replacement for the defective item(s) via regular USPS mail only under our cost.  Otherwise the original item we be shipped back to you.

Received the wrong item or an item you didn't order?

If you received the wrong item(s) or the item(s) you didn¡¦t order please contact us immediately. We'll ask you to indicate the number of item(s) you're returning, the reason for return, and provide you with a return ID.  If you need the replacement to be sent to you first, in this case your credit card will be charged to insure the shipment.  Once the return item(s) arrived we will refund the charge if the merchandise is unopened and resalable.  Otherwise, we need to receive the merchandise first then the replacement item will sent to you by Standard USPS service under our cost.  It generally takes about 2~3 weeks to process a return.

Missing an item?

Check the packing slip that was included with your shipment first. In order to fill your order quickly and efficiently with items already in stock at different  fulfillment centers, we may have split your order into multiple shipments, which we would indicate on the packing slip. If this is the case, rest assured that you will not be charged any additional shipping costs beyond those you had originally authorized.  If this is not the case, please contact us immediately we¡¦ll sent the missing item to you right away if we have stock or you can wait for it or request for a partial refund for the particular missing item.

 

*    Return the unopened item(s)

You may choose to return only unopened item(s) that are in their original packaging and are in good resalable condition, provided you are willing to bear the shipping cost.  If you decide to return the unopened item(s), please contact us immediately. We'll ask you to indicate the number of item(s) you're returning, the reason for return, and provide you with a return ID.  Please note, this is under your cost to return the product by a secure shipper.  After receive the return ID you can follow the ¡§Packing and sending your return¡¨ procedure to send the package back.  Once we received the return package and confirm the items are in unopened and resalable condition the Tarabookstore.com credit coupon will be issued to you.

The return of books, comic books, and magazines must be in good resalable condition and with 30% restocking charge. 

Usually you should expect to receive your credit coupon within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process, check your return once we receive it and issue the credit coupon (5 to 7 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail once we've received and processed the returned item.
